RESEP BUBUR MANADO

Ingredients :
  • 1 cup of rice 
  • 1 cup yellow sweet corn 
  • 1 cup dice purple sweet potato 
  • 1 cup dice cassava 
  • 1 cup dice sweet potato 
  • 1 cup dice pumpkin 
  • 1 cup dice carrot 
  • 1 cup roughly chopped daun gedi 
  • 2 cup roughly chopped amaranth or spinach leaves
  • 1 cup roughly chopped kangkoong or water spinach 
  • 1/2 cup roughly cassava leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • 2 bay leaves 
  • 3 lt water or roasted bone stock
Directions :
  1.  Put the water or roasted bone stock, rice abd purple sticky corn and bay leaves into a heavy bottom sauce pan, bring it boil.
  2. Once it boil, simmer and cover the pan with lid for about 10-15 mins 
  3. Add the sweet corn, cassava, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrot. Bring to boil and lower the heat into simmer , gently and constantly stir porridge with wooden spatula.
  4. Seasoning salt and pepper, mix well
  5. put all green vegetable leaf into porridge 
  6. Turn of heat, the porridge ready to eat serve with ikan asin & sambal dabu-dabu.
